Legal

Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the purchase of tickets and table reservations and to attending the Wiener Ball der Gastronomie on 28 January 2027 at Palais Auersperg, Auerspergstraße 1, 1080 Vienna. The German version is legally binding.

1. Organiser and purpose of this website

The Wiener Ball der Gastronomie is organised by the Mozart Event Group (the “organiser”), which is also the contracting party for tickets and table reservations.

This website provides information about the Wiener Ball der Gastronomie and is used to book and organise tickets, table reservations and group allocations.

2. Use and copyright

All content on this website is carefully checked and regularly updated. However, no guarantee is given for its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Changes and errors excepted.

Use of the website is at your own risk. Linked external sites, such as those of our partners, are beyond our control; we accept no liability for their content.

Reproducing, distributing or otherwise using content from this website — in particular texts, photographs, the ball artwork and logos — for commercial purposes is prohibited without the organiser's express written permission.

3. Data protection

The privacy policy of this website applies; it can be accessed at any time via the “Privacy” link.

4. Prices and fees

Three ticket categories are offered: promenade ticket €105, dinner ticket €195 and VIP dinner ticket €295. All prices are per person, in euros (€), and include statutory VAT and ball levies.

The cloakroom is subject to a charge that is not included in the ticket price; the cloakroom fee is payable on site.

Any service or shipping fees are shown separately during the booking process. Prices are subject to change until the booking is completed.

5. Ordering tickets and conclusion of contract

Bookings made via this website, by phone or by e-mail to marketing@mozart.wien are binding.

After a successful booking you will receive a confirmation and invoice by e-mail.

Table seats are tied to the dinner ticket and the VIP dinner ticket. For group and corporate bookings, availability is checked first; a binding booking is only made upon our written confirmation.

6. Payment methods and due date

Accepted payment methods are shown during the booking process (e.g. credit card, instant bank transfer, PayPal, bank transfer).

Unless stated otherwise, the invoice amount is due immediately.

If payment is not made on time, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the booking.

7. Right of withdrawal, vouchers and discount codes

Under § 18 (1) no. 10 of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG), there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for leisure services on a specific date, such as the Wiener Ball der Gastronomie. Cancellation or refund of booked tickets is therefore excluded.

Only one voucher or discount code can be redeemed per order. Vouchers and discount codes cannot be combined.

Discount codes apply only to regular full-price tickets and cannot be combined with reduced prices, special offers or vouchers.

8. Rebooking and returns

The Wiener Ball der Gastronomie takes place on a single date; rebooking to another date is therefore not possible.

Returns or cancellations of e-tickets are excluded without exception.

9. E-tickets and delivery

E-tickets are sent to the e-mail address given when booking. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of their e-mail address.

If tickets are sent physically, the shipping method, costs and delivery times are shown during the booking process.

10. Lost tickets and non-attendance

There is no entitlement to replacement or refund for lost, stolen or unused tickets (e.g. in the case of late arrival).

11. Resale and transferability

Tickets may be passed on or given away privately.

Commercial resale or the use of tickets for advertising or marketing purposes is prohibited without the organiser's express permission.

12. Conditions of admission

Doors open at 7:30 pm. The ticket must be shown on entry and remains valid for the entire ball night.

The dress code of the ball rules applies: floor-length evening gown or gala ball gown for ladies, black tailcoat with white bow tie or dinner jacket with bow tie for gentlemen. Guests who do not meet the dress code may be refused entry.

Admission is from 16 years of age; for young people, the provisions of the Vienna Youth Protection Act apply.

13. Programme changes

Changes to the performing artists, the programme, individual show acts, the culinary offering or the allocation of rooms, as well as changes to the timing of individual programme items, do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.

14. Force majeure and cancellation

If the event is cancelled or postponed due to force majeure (e.g. official orders, pandemic), the organiser will offer an alternative date or a voucher.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the organiser's liability for slight negligence is excluded. This does not apply to personal injury.

Attendance at the event is at the guest's own risk.

16. Customer obligations

The customer must check the tickets immediately upon receipt for accuracy (event, date, ticket category, table seat) and report any discrepancies without delay.

17. Ball rules and house rules

The ball rules of the Wiener Ball der Gastronomie and the house rules of Palais Auersperg apply. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to guests, or to ask them to leave, for good cause.

Coats, jackets, backpacks, umbrellas and the like must be left at the cloakroom. The cloakroom is subject to a charge.

Animals are not permitted, with the exception of assistance dogs.

During the ball night, photographs and video recordings are made by the organiser or third parties commissioned by it. They serve in particular to document the event and for public relations, and may be used for marketing and advertising purposes (e.g. website, social media, print products, press releases).

By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, guests agree that image and sound recordings in which they are recognisable may be used free of charge for these purposes. Anyone who does not wish to be published in an individual case may contact the event staff on site.

18. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law

Austrian law applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The place of jurisdiction is Vienna, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
